Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota, journalist, writer, anchor for CNN's morning program "New Day" and Westport, CT resident, is elected to the board of trustees for Westport Country Playhouse. Camerota's three decades of journalism have seen her cover reports across the country as well as internationally. Additionally, she has won an Edward R. Murrow Award and an Emmy Award. Johnna G. Torsone from Stamford was named an honorary board participant after being on the board since 7 years. Anna Czekaj Farber, who serves as the current chair of the Westport board after having served as its chair since 2013, has also been named the new board member. Czekaj Farber takes over from Barbara Streicker, a Westport resident who has served as the chairperson of the board since October 2015.
